Major players in the construction industry are increasingly opting for sustainable materials such as XPS (extruded polystyrene). A great example of this is Ballast Nedam, which, together with their partners HOCHTIEF and Van Oord, is constructing over two kilometres of quay wall in the Prinses Amaliahaven in Rotterdam. For this large construction project, we supplied hundreds of saddle structures, cylinders and plates made of XPS.
