Merford Cabins BV gave us a real challenge when they asked us to help them find a way to package a highly unconventional product, and to execute the resulting design. Merford Cabins, a cabin builder based in Gorinchem, needed to ship fifteen crane cabins to buyers from all over the world. In close collaboration with Merford, we developed sets of ten custom-designed EPS elements. We used our milling machine to give the tempex elements the right shape. When put together, these tempex pieces and the crane cabin parts formed a sturdy, easy to ship unit.
