The area around the Goes central station is being redeveloped, and an important part of this redevelopment is the railway underpass. This underpass would involve the construction of a cycling bridge, a beam and slab bridge and a girder bridge, which required a number of concrete columns in various thicknesses and ranging in length from 3 to 4.3 meters. Hakron, the Nunspeet-based company in charge of the formwork for this project, asked us to create the formwork for the columns. Each consists of two elements made out of EPS250, that are placed around the reinforcement. Wooden beams on the outside give the reusable formwork its stability. Thanks to the use of flexible triplex and a gel coating on the inside, the finished concrete has a sleek, smooth look to it.
