The Foundation of VDG De la Roy
Mr Wiel de la Roy started in Venray by insulating pipes for companies such as Océ and DSM. The range of services quickly expanded to include stable insulation and projects for residential and commercial construction.
The First Steps
The company expands its offerings with insulation materials and introduces a milling machine for energy-saving solutions, including those for cold storage and freezer units.
A New Course
After the passing of Wiel and his wife, the family carries on the business. Their son Henny specialises in custom EPS solutions: from interior decoration to intricate lettering.
Expansion continues
With a larger facility, the design segment expands as well. 3D milling, spraying techniques and contour cutting open up new possibilities. The company is renamed De la Roy Insulation & Design.
A new home
Under the VDG banner, we move to a brand-new and sustainable facility in Gemert. Here, our specialists work on a wide range of construction and design solutions.

From concept, to creating and to completion. We bring your idea to life, fully constructed and finished. First, we create the perfect visual and technical drawing, ensuring every detail is right before moving on to production.
From sketch to full 3D step drawings and visualisations.
We translate your requirements into precise technical drawings from the design phase onward.
If necessary we will do the structural calculations as well.
We can provide certification for both materials as solutions.
And then production commences in our own production facility in Gemert, The Netherlands.
We deliver our solutions in protective transport materials that are also reusable.
If required we can assist with the placement of objects.

VDG De la Roy contributes to sustainability by recycling residual materials and providing high-quality insulation for buildings, such as the Van Dijk Group headquarters. This facility is entirely energy-neutral, featuring 832 solar panels, a heat pump and LED lighting throughout. Additionally, we support the Hendrik van Dijk Foundation, which aids construction and infrastructure projects in developing countries.
